Mission: LINCATS-K12 aims to mentor early-career investigators in Clinical and/or Translational Research, provide them with the necessary skills, and support their progression to independent careers, leading and serving the community regionally and nationwide.
The long-term goals of the LINCATS-K12 are to: 
- Implement a clear and sustainable pathway for the training of scholars and mentors focused on Clinical and/or Translational Research.
- Enhance the scholar and mentor pool, emphasizing the representation of race, ethnicity, religion, mental and physical ability, gender identity and sexual orientation.
- Create an innovative, robust, and sustainable infrastructure and methodology for learning and disseminating best practices in Clinical and/or Translational Science.
