Biobanking Tissue Acquisition and Analysis
Biobanking Tissue Acquisition and Analysis (BTA) comprises a searchable-sample database and five integrated facilities: 1) Biorepository, 2) Freezer Farm; 3) Histology laboratory; 4) Flow Cytometry facility; and 5) Genomics facility. We can give you access to our large biorepository of previously collected specimens from patients with neoplasms for research, or help you with collection, storage, and analysis of your own study specimens.
Our Services
All of our services begin with a consultation to understand your research needs.
- Managing active clinical study specimens (including processing and storage)
- Providing access to Freezerworks database (with diagnostics, specimen location in the freezer farm)
- Analyzing specimens (e.g., histology, fractionation) and providing consultation with pathologists
- Performing flow cytometry to characterize cells and analyze phenotypes
- Sequencing genetic material (e.g., performing next-generation and Sanger sequencing, measuring gene expression levels, and isolating DNA and RNA)
