LINCATS Mentored Career Development Program

  • Overview: The Long Island Network for Clinical and Translational Science (LINCATS) is pleased to announce the two-year Mentored Clinical and Translational Research Career Development Program. The primary objective of this program is to mentor and train investigators in clinical/translational research and support their progression to independent research careers. Selected Scholars will be expected to identify and conduct an independent research project, implement an individualized research and career development plan, attend and participate in monthly Work-In-Progress meetings, and apply for a NIH career development grant by the end of the training period. We invite qualified candidates from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. Women, under-represented minorities, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
  • Salary Support: up to $125,000 (if departmental base salary is equivalent or more) plus fringe benefits. A minimum of 75% effort must be devoted to the training program (minimum 50% for surgical specialties).
